William FÈvre les lys 1er Cru 2010 (Domaine)

An airy, pure and ultra-elegant nose offers up notes of dried white flowers, citrus rind and tidal pool where the latter also suffuses the quite finely detailed middle weight flavors that possess surprising richness on the precise, bone dry and lingering finish. I very much admire the exquisite balance and as Les Lys always is, this is a wine of finesse and subtlety. While this will certainly improve over the medium-term, there is enough midpalate fat to allow this to be enjoyed young as well. Outstanding. Drink: 2016+. Score: 91 (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, Sept. 10, 2012)

William FÈvre bougros cote bougerots grand cru 2010 (Domaine)

The 2010 Chablis Bougros Cote Bouguerots is impeccable. It is one of the more open and radiant of the 2010s here, with great balance between the richness of the fruit, floral aromatics and minerality. The Cote Bouguerots is utterly vivid and compelling from the very first taste. Layers of fruit build to the huge, caressing finish. It is one of the stand outs, not just at Fevre but among all the 2010s I tasted. Anticipated maturity: 2014+. Score: 96 (Antonio Galloni, erobertparker.com, Aug. 2012)

William FÈvre les clos Grand Cru 2010 (Domaine)

Bright, pale green. Subtle, delicate aromas of white peach, mint, crushed stone and chlorophyll. Less complex today than the Preuses but this is still an infant. All about white peach lifted by white pepper. Fine-grained, silky and utterly vibrant wine, delivering outstanding density and fullness without weight. Great slowly mounting finish promises much more to come. Score: 95+ (Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, July 2012)
